Rain expected across Southern Ontario on Thursday

A low will bring both rain and freezing rain to portions of Ontario tonight and Thursday.

Rain will move into most of southern Ontario tonight and will continue on Thursday. Rainfall amounts will range from 15 to 25 mm.

At this time the ground remains frozen and cannot absorb the water so there is a risk of flooding.

The rain will come to an end by Thursday evening.

For eastern Ontario freezing rain is possible on Thursday morning before a changeover to rain. Rainfall accumulations of 15 to 25 mm are possible.
