Rain, Snow, and Wind Expected for Eastern Newfoundland on Sunday #nlwx
A low pressure system looks like it will clip the eastern half of Newfoundland on Sunday.
It looks like by the time the low gets here, it will feature rain, snow, and strong winds.
The potential exists for significant rainfall and lesser snowfall amounts. Winds may gust to near 100 km/h.
Based on its current track, there may be impacts from this storm as far west and Gander, NL. It is worth noting that even a slight change in the track could significantly alter the forecast. As a result, we are not yet in a position to provide precipitation amounts.
Another low will come in behind the first on Tuesday.
Keep checking back for updates.
