Rainy Friday in store for the Maritimes

An area of low pressure will push across the Maritimes on Friday bringing heavy rain and fog to the region.


In Nova Scotia and PEI, about 15 to 25 mm of rain is expected, in New Brunswick about 10 to 20 mm is on the way. Winds will gust to about 60 km/h on Cape Breton Island.


Newfoundland will see rain move in later on Friday into Friday night. Most of Newfoundland will see about 15 to 25 mm of rain on Friday night and into Saturday.
