Rainy weekend ahead for southern Ontario

An area of low pressure will push across southern Ontario and will bring heavy rain to the region today and tonight.

Rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm are possible north of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.

Rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm are expected for extreme southwestern Ontario on Sunday. Some thunderstorms may also occur.

There is the possibility of flash flooding and water pooling on roads.
