Reports of tornadoes, heavy rain, and damage after southern Ontario storms


Wednesday was a severe day across most of southern Ontario as severe thunderstorms rolled across the region.


There were reports of tornadoes, heavy rain, and damage.


There was a report of a tornado in Thedford resulting in tree damage and structural damage to barns and power outages.


Lucknow received about 38 mm of rain.


There were reports of tree damage, structural damage to buildings and vehicles, localized flooding, crop damage and power outages in Wyoming.


Areas of Woodstock, Lakeside, Stratford and Lucan received tree damage and power outages. In Fonthill, there was tree damage, structural damage to buildings and vehicles and power outages.


At this time damage investigations are still ongoing.
