Seven dead from wildfires in Portugal
Portugal is dealing with over 100 wildfires in the northern half of the country. Seven people have lost their lives as a result of the fires that burned out of control this past weekend.
Over 15,000 hectares of land have been burnt so far according to the European Copernicus satellite service.
The fires have forced evacuations and put nearly 210,000 people at risk.
Spain, France, Italy and Greece are offering assets to fight the fires.
While Portugal deals with hot and dry weather, central Europe is seeing flooding.
