Severe Thunderstorms Expected Across Southeast

It looks like it might be an unsettled day across portions of the U.S. Southeast.

Thunderstorms are expected across portions of southern and central Alabama and Georgia, as well as southern coastal South Carolina.

These thunderstorms have the potential to reach severe limits.

The main threats are strong winds which may cause some damage. Large hail is also possible and a few tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

Major metropolitan areas that could be impacted are Montgomery Columbus, Savannah, Macon, and Albany.
