Severe thunderstorms expected across U.S. South

The next couple of days will be severe across portions of the southern United States.

Today and tonight we are looking at the possibility of widespread severe thunderstorms from eastern sections of Oklahoma and Texas into Louisiana and the Arkansas area.

With these storms, there is a risk of tornadoes, some of which could be strong, and strong winds.

On Tuesday the severe weather threat shifts to the east with severe thunderstorms expected from the Mid-South to the central Gulf Coast.

These storms will also have the potential to bring strong winds and tornadoes.
