Severe thunderstorms possible this afternoon across Southern and Central Ontario

Thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening across portions of southwestern and central Ontario from Windsor to Muskoka.


These storms will be capable of producing strong wind gusts to 110 km/h, rainfall amounts of 15 to 25 mm, hail of 2 to 4 cm in diameter, and tornadoes.


A cold front will slice across the region this afternoon, setting off the storms.
