Severe weather expected from ArkLaTex to Western Appalachians on Saturday

On Saturday severe weather is expected from the ArkLaTex to the Western Appalachians impacting over 12 million people.

Cities including Memphis, Nashville, Birmingham, Little Rock, and Huntsville are in an enhanced risk area for severe weather.

There is the potential for heavy rain, strong winds, large damaging hail and tornadoes.

On Sunday the threat diminishes and shifts to the southeast.
