Shot of snow for the Avalon Peninsula

There is very little snow remaining on the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland but that may change as we head into Friday.

On Thursday night a low will push across the eastern half of Newfoundland and will bring rain to the Avalon Peninsula. By the time we get to Friday morning that rain will likely change over to snow.

Although there is still some discrepancy with weather models there is the potential for about 10 to 15 cm of snow on Friday for most areas of the Avalon Peninsula.
