Significant snow possible for parts of NL


On Wednesday an area of low pressure will push across the province bringing rain to most of Newfoundland except for the Great Northern Peninsula.


Across the Great Northern Peninsula and southern Labrador, snow is expected. Significant snowfall is possible with this storm.


From Wednesday morning until Wednesday night snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected, areas over higher terrain could see as much as 30 cm of snow. On the western side of the Great Northern Peninsula for areas such as Port Saunders to Daniels Harbour only about 2 to 5 cm of snow is expected.


Gusty winds are also expected.
