Smoke From Western US Fires Causing Poor Air Quality in BC

The massive wildfires in the western United States are causing air quality problems on this side of the border.

Environment and Climate Change Canada have issued air quality statements for most of British Columbia.

On Saturday, British Columbia had some of the worst air quality on Earth.

There are 29 fires that have burned more than 1,000 acres (400 ha), or produced significant structural damage or casualties. Over 500,000 people in the State of Oregon have evacuated, which is 10% of Oregon's population.
