Snow across Nova Scotia and eventually Newfoundland

It's going to be an unsettled day across Nova Scotia and eventually Newfoundland.

Across most of mainland Nova Scotia and western Cape Breton, heavy snow is expected today. Snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

The snow will continue into this evening for eastern regions. The snow will be mixed with or change to rain along parts of the coast.

In Newfoundland snow is also expected this afternoon and overnight. Across the Burin and Avalon Peninsula, snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected.
