Snow and blowing snow across the Prairies

An area of low pressure will move across Alberta and Saskatchewan this afternoon and evening and will bring snow and blowing snow to many areas.

The heaviest snow is expected across central section of Alberta today through Monday morning. 15 to 25 cm of snow is possible.

Today and tonight areas of southern Alberta will see winds potentially as high as 100 km/h resulting in widespread blowing snow.

Across central Saskatchewan and southern areas of Manitoba, snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected. Monday into Tuesday, Manitoba will see snow and blowing snow.
