Snow and wind expected across portions of Ontario

Precipitation associated with an area of low pressure over central Quebec will bring some snow to areas along the northeastern shore of Georgian Bay and inland to North Bay today.

By this afternoon, snowfall amounts of 10 cm are possible. Travel could be difficult in some areas.

Strong winds are expected along the eastern shore of Lake Erie. Winds will gradually intensify this morning into this afternoon.

Wind gusts between 70 to 80 km/h. The winds will diminish this evening. The winds may cause localized power outages.
