Portions of northwestern and far northern Ontario will see snow continue today. Snow began last night and snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm of snow is expected across the area.

Areas north of Lake Superior will see a mix of snow or freezing drizzle early this morning and transition to freezing rain through Friday morning. The freezing rain is expected to gradually transition over to light flurries late Friday afternoon into the evening. Total ice accretion of 2 to 5 millimetres is expected at this time along with 2 to 5 centimetres of snow.

Across parts of northwestern and far northern Ontario 5 to 10 cm are possible by the time snow tapers off to light flurries Friday evening.
