Snow continues across southern Manitoba and southern Saskatchewan

A Colorado low delivered a healthy dose of snow to southwest Manitoba.

The snow will continue today with another 5 to 10 cm expected. The highest amounts are expected over the higher terrain of western Manitoba near the Riding Mountains.

Snow will also continue through in southeastern Saskatchewan, southwestern Manitoba, and through the Interlake with similar amounts.

This morning we continue to see rain over the Red River Valley and southeastern Manitoba. Precipitation will transition to snow later today. 5 to 10 mm of rain could fall followed by about 5 cm of snow.

The snow will taper off this evening into Friday.
