Snow Expected from Lake Huron to Ottawa on Wednesday and Thursday #ONwx

We are watching an area of snow that may hinder travel across portions of Southern Ontario on Wednesday and Thursday.

At this time, 15 to 20 cm of snow is expected on Wednesday night into Thursday from Lake Huron to the national capital.

Lake Huron and Georgian Bay may see some lake-effect snow also.

On Thursday, lake-effect snow is possible once again along Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. 15 cm is possible by Friday morning.

Practice safe winter driving. Increase your following distance to five to six seconds, always adjust your speed down to account for lower traction when driving on snow or ice, and get some inertia going on a flat roadway before you go up a hill.
