Snow, freezing rain and strong winds impacting the eastern half of Canada

Ontario
Snow, freezing rain and strong winds will continue across southern and northeastern Ontario today.
Portions of northeastern Ontario, snow is expected to see snow continue today with 5 to 10 cm of additional snowfall.
Portions of central Ontario as well as southern portions of northeastern Ontario will see rain transition to snow early this morning with snowfall accumulations possibly reaching 5 to 10 cm. Areas southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay will also see 5 to 10 cm of snow.
Portions of eastern Ontario and the Greater Golden Horseshoe will see rain transition to snow this morning or afternoon.
Areas of southwestern Ontario and northeast of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario will see rain transition to snow early this morning with snowfall accumulations possibly reaching 2 to 4 cm.
Quebec
For Baie-Comeau and areas north, snow will change to freezing rain and continue until late today before changing to rain. Nearly 5 millimetres of ice accretion is expected.
Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 centimetres are expected for the Lower North Shore.
New Brunswick
Rain at times heavy and mild temperatures are expected to persist today for central and southern New Brunswick. Rainfall amounts of 30 to 40 mm except 40 to 60 mm near the Fundy coast is expected today through to Friday morning.
Nova Scotia
Shelburne, Queens, Lunenburg and Halifax counties will see total rainfall of 25 to 35 mm late this morning for Shelburne, Queens and Lunenburg counties. Early this afternoon for Halifax county. Ending Friday morning.
Newfoundland
Strong winds are expected along the west coast with gusts from 60 to 80 km/h. Areas prone to enhanced southeasterlies will see gusts from 100 to 120 km/h except 140 km/h in the Wreckhouse area this evening until Friday evening.
Labrador
Upper Lake Melville and areas west will see 15 to 20 cm of snow. Cartwright to Black Tickle, Rigolet and vicinity, and the Trans-Labrador Highway from Cartwright Junction to Happy Valley-Goose Bay will see freezing rain.
Freezing rain and rain is expected for the Labrador coast from Makkovik to Nain and Red Bay to Lodge Bay.
