Snow pushing across the Prairies today

An area of low pressure over northern Alberta will begin to spread snow across the Prairies today and into Northwestern Ontario on Friday.
Northwest Territories
Heavy snow will continue today for areas near Great Slave Lake with about 10 cm expected. The snow will end by this evening.
Alberta
Heavy snow is expected over northern areas today, with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm. Snow will taper off late tonight. Freezing rain is expected in the R.M. of Wood Buffalo including Fort McMurray.
Saskatchewan
Heavy snow is expected over northern areas today, with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm. Snow will taper off late tonight.
Manitoba
Snow will start later this morning over central Manitoba. The heaviest axis of snowfall is expected from The Pas/Flin Flon, southeast through Grand Rapids and towards Berens River. Snowfall accumulations will range from 10-15 cm in total before the low exits into northwestern Ontario Friday morning.
Northwestern Ontario
Tonight into Friday morning snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are possible for communities such as Thunder Bay, Dryden, and Kenora.
