Snow, rain, and strong winds expected across Ontario

Thursday will be a very unsettled day across Ontario.

Winds will be an issue almost across the entire province with gusts between 70 and 90 km/h expected.

Snow is expected across northern Ontario with amounts ranging from 5 to 15 cm.

Rain is expected to change over to snow Thursday afternoon for areas north and east of Lake Superior.

Across far northeastern Ontario rain will change to snow Thursday morning for most regions.

Across northwestern Ontario from Fort Frances to Geraldton including Thunder Bay rain will change to snow Thursday morning for most regions.

There is the potential for power outages.
