Snow, rain, & wind impacting BC & Yukon

A large and powerful low off the coast of Alaska is bringing rain and snow to British Columbia and Yukon.

For the Haines Road area, 25 to 50 cm of snow is possible today through Saturday.

Along the North Coast of British Columbia, heavy rain is expected with 50 mm possible by Saturday morning.

Additionally strong winds are expected for Haida Gwaii and North Coast - coastal sections. In those areas wind gusts to 110 km/h are expected early this evening until midnight.
