Snow squalls will continue this morning into this afternoon across portions of Southern Ontario.

For regions southeast of Lake Huron, lake effect snow squalls are expected to affect the area today. Local snowfall amounts of 20 to 40 cm are possible, accompanied by significant visibility reduction in blowing snow.

Lake effect snow is also likely for areas southeast of Georgian Bay into this afternoon. Snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm are possible, accompanied by visibility reduction in blowing snow.

Areas further inland, southeast of Georgian Bay, will also see snow squalls with 5 to 10 cm possible.

Portions southeast of Lake Huron will also see snow squalls with amounts of 15 to 30 cm likely.
