Snow Squalls expected in portions of Ontario today


It will be another snowy day along the shores of eastern Lake Superior and southeast of Georgian Bay.


Snow squalls will develop this morning off the shores of eastern Lake Superior and continue through this evening. 15 to 25 cm of snow is likely by tonight.


Areas southeast of Georgian Bay will also see snow squalls today with snow squalls continuing through tonight. 10 to 20 cm is possible by Sunday morning.

There is a snow squall warning in effect for:

  • Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay

There are several snow squall watches in effect for:

  • Barrie - Orillia - Midland

  • Dufferin - Innisfil

  • Grey - Bruce

  • Haliburton

  • Parry Sound - Muskoka

  • Peterborough - Kawartha Lakes and

  • York - Durham.
