Snow squalls persist across parts of Ontario

Snow squalls will persist today for areas east of Lake Superior, Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

For locations just to the east of Lake Superior, accumulations up to 30 cm are possible. Local accumulations of up to 25 cm are possible east of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

Areas along the northeastern shores of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario will also experience snow squalls.

Snow squalls over eastern Lake Erie and Lake Ontario may move inland and affect areas near the northeastern shores. If the squalls move inland, local accumulations of up to 15 cm are possible.
