Snow Squalls Possible in Western NL, Eastern PEI, and Cape Breton Island

Snow squalls are possible once again today along the west coast of Newfoundland, eastern Prince Edward Island, and western Cape Breton Island.

There are snow squall watches in effect in Newfoundland for Bay St. George, Burgeo - Ramea, Channel-Port aux Basques and vicinity, and Corner Brook and vicinity. On Prince Edward Island there is a snow squall watch for Kings County and in Nova Scotia for Inverness County - Mabou and north, Inverness County - south of Mabou, and Victoria County.

Snow squalls are possible today and this evening. While about 2 to 4 centimetres of snow is expected in these areas, should snow squalls develop up to 10 centimetres is possible.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Be prepared to adjust your driving.
