Snow to continue across portions of Northern Ontario
A large area of low pressure over northern Ontario will bring snow to some of the area today.
Snow began on Tuesday evening across parts of northwestern Ontario and areas north of Lake Superior, northeast to Moosonee and south to Timmins. The snow will continue today.
Snowfall amounts will range from 10 to 20 cm for most of the area. The heaviest snow will fall from the Geraldton to Nakina region where up to 25 cm is possible.
Across southwestern Ontario, the GTA, to Niagara, strong winds are expected today. Gusts between 80 and 90 km/h are expected this afternoon. Winds will diminish this evening.
