Snow to continue in parts of Ontario


More snow and strong winds are expected once again today across parts of Ontario.


Northern portions of northeastern Ontario will continue to see snow today. 10 to 20 cm is expected. Snow will exit northeastern Ontario today.


Across parts of southern and northeastern Ontario snow squalls are expected to develop. General snowfall amounts of 2 to 5 cm are possible in these bursts of heavier snow however 5 to 15 cm are possible in more persistent lake effect snow east of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.


Northeast of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario will experience gusty winds today. Gusts to 80 km/h are possible.


On Sunday more snow is possible along the shores of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.
