Snow to impact most of eastern Newfoundland on Sunday
The Avalon Peninsula may be seeing light snow today, but some more snow is on the way for Sunday.
A strong low will pass southeast of eastern Newfoundland on Sunday.
Based on its current track, the low will track well south of Newfoundland and send snow to the Avalon Peninsula, Burin Peninsula, and the Bonavista Peninsula.
The heaviest snow will fall over the eastern Avalon Peninsula.

Carbonear 5-7 cm
Placentia 3-5 cm
Marystown 3-5 cm
Bonavista 5-10 cm
Strong winds are expected across the eastern half of the Avalon Peninsula. Gusts to 70 km/h are possible along the immediate area of the coast.
