Snowy Weekend Ahead for Ontario #ONstorm

Far northwestern Ontario will see accumulating snow beginning today.

Snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres are expected from areas such as Attawapiskat to Big Trout Lake.

This heavy snow will cause travel problems.

On Sunday evening there will be some lake effect snow southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

Amounts of 5 to 10 centimetres are possible.

The snow should taper off on Monday morning.

We are expected strong winds with gusts to 90 km/h on Sunday and Sunday night near Lake Huron. These strong gusts may cause power outages.

The Monday morning commute could be messy.
