Some activity possible in the Atlantic

Over the eastern tropical Atlantic, there is a tropical wave producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms.

Over the next couple of days, dry and stable air will limit development; however, some gradual organization is possible thereafter, and a tropical depression could form during the middle to latter part of next week.

The system is moving west-northwestward to over the central tropical Atlantic.
