Storm possible mid-week in Atlantic Canada

A large area of low pressure looks like it will bring another multi-day snow event to Nova Scotia and parts of eastern Newfoundland mid to late next week.

Snow is possible on Tuesday night to Wednesday evening across Nova Scotia with snow moving south to north. Strong winds are also expected across most of the province.

On Wednesday, snow will move into Newfoundland impacting all areas except the west coast and Northern Peninsula. The heaviest snow is expected over eastern Newfoundland including the Avalon. The snow will continue through Friday and possibly Saturday. Strong winds are also expected.

At this time there is a good model consensus, but it remains too early to discuss specific snowfall amounts.
