Storm system continues to bring snow to eastern Newfoundland

A storm is currently impacting eastern Newfoundland.

Across the Avalon Peninsula and Burin Peninsula, travel is not recommended in many areas and there is poor visibility.

Today 15 to 20 cm of snow is possible. Winds will gust between 80 and 100 km/h resulting in blowing snow.

The snow will end this afternoon.
