Storm to bring heavy snow to Southern Ontario

An area of low pressure will push across Southern Ontario on Wednesday and Thursday bringing significant amounts of snow to some areas.

Snow is likely to begin Wednesday morning in southern Ontario and will reach the GTA by the afternoon or evening.

Snowfall amounts will range from 5 to 20 cm. The heaviest snow will fall along the western shores of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.

Snow will end from south to north on Thursday afternoon.

The snow will have a significant impact on the evening commute on Wednesday and on Thursday morning.
