Storm to bring more rain to Manitoba

There are still several flood warnings across southern Manitoba. The last thing the region needs is more rain, but a storm will deliver heavy rain this weekend.

Rain will move in overnight across southwestern Manitoba and move eastward on Saturday. The ground has little ability to absorb rainfall.

There are rainfall warnings and special weather statements in effect. For areas under the rainfall warning, rainfall amounts of 20 to 50 mm are possible. For the areas under a special weather statement rainfall amounts will range from 10 to 40 mm.

Over higher elevations of southern Manitoba, some snow is possible.
