Storm Update for Ontario and Quebec #ONstorm #MeteoQC


A large storm is still impacting Ontario and Quebec.


Today, another 10 to 15 cm of snow is expected across northeastern and central Ontario. Strong winds will cause reduced visibility from blowing snow.


Meanwhile, it won't be snow but ice pellets that may cause problems in eastern Ontario. The ice pellets are expected until about noon.


Strong winds will persist along Lake Erie and Lake Ontario with gusts to 100 km/h expected.

In Quebec, severe weather will continue.


Snow, ice pellets, freezing rain, rain, and strong wind is expected.


Areas north of the St. Lawrence River will remain as snow. South of the St. Lawrence River will see ice pellets, freezing rain, and rain.


Winds will gust to 90 km/h along the St. Lawrence River.
