Power outages have been reported on the southwest coast impacting 1,589 customers.

As of 7:00 am snow is falling across most of the province with drifting snow in some areas.

Every part of Newfoundland and Labrador is under a warning or advisory of some type. There are winter storm warnings, blizzard warnings, snowfall warnings, a Wreckhouse wind warning, and blowing snow advisories in effect.

Conditions will start to improve this morning on the south coast and this afternoon across the Avalon, central, and west coast, and this evening on the Northern Peninsula and Labrador.

The reprieve will be short-lived as parts of the west coast and central will suffer another blow from winter Wednesday night and into Thursday.
