Stormy mix of weather continues across Ontario


An area of low pressure will continue to spread precipitation across Ontario today and tonight.


Rain will taper off today from south to north. Total amounts of 25 mm is expected across most of southern Ontario. Areas such as Ottawa will see showers into Friday morning.


An area of freezing rain will develop from Dufferin north to North Bay and east to the Quebec Border including Ottawa. The freezing rain will come to an end this afternoon.


Across southern Ontario winds will gust between 70 km/h this evening and on Friday. Across the Niagara Peninsula, wind gusts between 90 and 100 km/h is expected.


Areas such as Sudbury will receive about 15 to 20 cm of snow by Friday morning.
