Stormy weather continues across northern sections of Ontario

Stormy weather continues across northern sections of Ontario.

Heavy snow and local blowing snow is expected across northwestern and far northeastern Ontario today. 10 to 20 cm of snow is expected. Amounts could reach 30 cm along a swath west of Thunder Bay towards Lansdowne House.

It's not only snow but also freezing rain for areas north of Lake Superior. While some impacts from freezing rain are possible, it's unlikely that much will accumulate.

Tomorrow, far northern Ontario will pick up another 10 to 15 cm of snow while freezing rain is possible for areas such as Ogoki Post and northwards.

On Thursday snow will continue across far northern Ontario and east of Lake Superior.
