Stormy weather continues across Ontario

A storm is continuing to impact most of the eastern half of Ontario.

For northeastern Ontario snowfall amounts of 5 to 15 cm are expected. Snow will change to freezing rain or ice pellets this afternoon. Precipitation will change back to snow this evening before ending.

10 to 15 mm of rain is expected for areas south of Sudbury and along the southern and northern shores of Lake Ontario.

Winds will gust between 70 and 100 km/h across southern Ontario.

There is a risk of non-severe thunderstorms in southern and central Ontario today.
