Stormy weather continues across parts of Ontario


Stormy weather is continuing across parts of Ontario.


Snow and blowing snow will continue through the day across far northern Ontario. Winds will gust to 80 km/h at times Snow will gradually diminish on Friday evening.


For portions of far northwestern Ontario snow and blowing snow will continue through the day, and then begin to diminish beginning in the evening. Strong winds gusting up to 70 km/h are expected to diminish beginning in the evening as well.


Flurries and snow squalls are possible for areas to the east and north of Lake Superior.


Across southern Ontario and portions of eastern Ontario wind gusts to 70 km/h are possible on Friday evening. There is a risk of power outages.
