System to Impact Ontario and Quebec #ONstorm #meteoQC

An area of low pressure will push through Ontario and Quebec on Tuesday night and continue through Thursday.


Precipitation will begin as a rain-snow mix across southern Ontario on Tuesday night.


Snowfall amounts of 5-10 cm may be possible by Wednesday morning.


Snowfall amounts of 10-20 cm are possible for portions of northeastern, central and eastern Ontario. Some blowing snow is also expected.


Snow will change to rain from southern Lake Huron to eastern Ontario. There is also a risk for freezing rain or freezing drizzle.


On Thursday, snow is expected to continue.


On Wednesday snow is expected in Quebec. Snow may change to rain south of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Precipitation will continue through Friday.
