Temperature records broken across Northwestern Ontario


Northwestern Ontario has been experiencing hot and humid weather on Sunday and Monday.


Some maximum temperature records were broken on Monday.


Cooler air has since moved in from the west.


The following areas set new daily maximum temperatures On Monday.


Ear Falls area

New record of 34.3

Old record of 33.1 set in 2012

Upsala area

New record of 35.4

Atikokan area

New record of 34.4

Old record of 34.0 set in 1995

Thunder Bay area
