The Philippines Hit by Powerful Typhoon

The Philippines has been hit by a powerful typhoon.

Typhoon Kammuri has been responsible for at least 4 deaths.

Kammuri brought down trees and destroyed homes and topples electrical posts.

Late during the night of December 2, 2019, Typhoon Kammuri made landfall near Gubat, Sorsogon with winds equivalent to a Category 4 hurricane.

Photos from the towns of Mapanas and Gamay, both located on Northern Samar's Pacific side, show flooding and strong winds brought by Kammuri.

Videos circulating on numerous social media websites, including YouTube, depicted violent winds with rain lashing the central Philippines the most.
