Three People Sent to Hospital After Avalanche in Alberta

Three people have been sent to hospital after an avalanche on Mount Lawson on Saturday.

Mount Lawson is located in the Kananaskis Range in Alberta. It has an elevation of 2,795 meters.

A total of eight people were caught in the avalanche.

One of those people were completely buried.

The avalanche was likely triggered by the afternoon heat. The temperature was 9.6 degrees in Kananaskis at the time.
