Three tornadoes have been confirmed in Manitoba


Three tornadoes have been confirmed in Manitoba.


The Northern Tornadoes Project in collaboration with Environment and Climate Change Canada facilitated an on-site storm damage survey near William Lake Provincial Park, Killarney, and Bagot.


The tornadoes occurred on June 20.


An EF-1 tornado with estimated wind speeds of 145 km/h caused tree damage at William Lake Provincial Park and rural areas nearby.


There was an EF-1 tornado north of Killarney with estimated wind speeds of 155 km/h. This tornado caused tree damage and damage to farm structures.


A third tornado was rated as an EF-1 with estimated wind speeds of 135 km/h. This twister occurred northwest of Bagot and caused tree damage and damage to farm structures.
