Thunderstorms across Ontario could result in flash flooding

This afternoon and overnight, there is a risk of thunderstorms across Southern Ontario. Some storms could become severe with strong winds and heavy rain being the primary concerns.
The thunderstorm risk lingers into Sunday morning. Eastern portions of eastern Ontario could receive up to 50 mm of rain, while portions of eastern and central Ontario, as well as the Niagara, could receive additional rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm.
There is the possibility of flooding in low-lying areas, including roads, flash flooding and water pooling on roads.
