Tornado confirmed in Manitoba


Environment and Climate Change Canada has confirmed a tornado near Beaver Creek, Manitoba.


On July 26 a severe thunderstorm moved through the Interlake. Environment and Climate Change Canada received reports of very large hail and a tornado.


The tornado struck at 6:05 pm CDT. some trees were damaged. The tornado has been given a preliminary rating of EF-0 with an estimated wind speed near 115 km/h.
