Tornado confirmed in Quebec

On Monday, severe thunderstorms produced extensive damage in Saint-Raphaël, Quebec.


The Northern Tornadoes Project completed an investigation, and one tornado was confirmed.


Around 9:10 p.m., the damage was caused by an EF0 tornado with peak wind speeds estimated at 130 km/h. The tornado tracked from west to east, covering a distance of 5.97 kilometres and reaching a maximum width of 550 metres.
